How much a yearly plan saves
| Operator | Monthly plan × 13 | Yearly plan | You save |
|---|---|---|---|
| Jio | ₹349 × 13 = ₹4,537 (2 GB/day) | ₹3,599 (2.5 GB/day) | ₹938 |
| Airtel | ₹349 × 13 = ₹4,537 (2 GB/day) | ₹3,599 (2 GB/day) | ₹938 |
| Vi | ₹365 × 13 = ₹4,745 (2 GB/day) | ₹3,599 (2 GB/day) | ₹1,146 |
The saving is real, but you pay it all up front. If an operator raises prices during the year, a yearly plan bought before the rise keeps the old price for its whole validity.
Things to weigh
- Will you switch operator or number during the year? The unused part isn't refunded.
- Data needs grow: a 2 GB/day plan bought today may feel small by next summer. Data add-on packs fill gaps.
- Low-data yearly plans (about 24–30 GB for the whole year) suit people who use Wi-Fi at home and mostly call.
- Calling-only yearly plans suit a second SIM or an elderly parent's phone — see calling-only plans.
Before you recharge
- Recharge only through the operator's app or website, a UPI app or your bank — never through a link in an SMS or WhatsApp message promising a "free recharge" or a huge discount. Those links steal UPI PINs and card details.
- Check the plan in your own circle: some plans and prices differ by state.
- "Unlimited" data has a daily limit: after your daily quota, speed usually drops to about 64 kbps until midnight.
- Unlimited 5G comes only on plans the operator names, and only where its 5G network reaches you and your phone supports it.
Oxon Fintech does not sell recharges or collect bill payments. Plan prices and benefits are the operators' own, as listed on the date above; they change often and can differ by telecom circle, so confirm in the operator's app before paying.
