Who borrows ₹3 lakh
₹3 lakh is a common wedding budget top-up, a mid-sized renovation, or the amount needed to combine several credit card and app loan balances into one EMI.
What to watch at ₹3 lakh
If your own income alone doesn't support the EMI, some lenders allow a co-applicant whose income is counted too — but they share the liability. See co-applicant vs guarantor. When consolidating debts, list every balance first so the new loan clears them all.

Eligibility
Lenders look at your income, existing EMIs, credit score, job or business stability and banking history. As a rough guide, an EMI of about ₹10,253 (14%, 36 months) fits within half of a take-home income of around ₹21,000 a month if you have no other EMIs. Most lenders also set their own minimum monthly income, often higher than that, so the higher of the two applies — check your own numbers with the loan eligibility calculator.
